Do you help me make the first video?: Yes. Once you're approved, your partner page has three ready-to-film video ideas (the hook, what to show and what to say) with your code already in them, plus our logo and screenshots. Send us your video when it's live, and we feature the best ones on VidLyft's YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, with credit to your channel.
Who can join?: Any creator who makes videos about YouTube, content creation, video editing, or growing online. Small channels are welcome: what matters is that your audience would find VidLyft useful.
How much do I earn?: 10% of what every customer you refer pays for VidLyft Pro, every month they stay subscribed. Your viewers also get 10% off their first 3 months with your code.
How do you track my referrals?: Your viewers enter your code when they upgrade. Every paid month is recorded automatically, and you get a private page that shows your sign-ups, paying customers and earnings.
When and how do I get paid?: Once a month, by PayPal, Interac e-Transfer or Wise. Earnings become payable 30 days after each payment, so refunds and chargebacks can be settled first.
Does the free trial count?: Commission is earned on paid months only. When a trial converts to a paid subscription, that first payment and every one after it count.

Partner terms

These terms apply to the VidLyft creator partner program, alongside the VidLyft terms of service.

Commission. You earn 10% of the amount (excluding taxes) each referred customer pays for VidLyft Pro, for every paid month while they stay subscribed. Free trials and refunded or disputed payments earn nothing.
Referrals. A referral counts when a new customer applies your code at checkout. You can't use your own code, and one customer counts for one partner only.
Payouts. Commission becomes payable 30 days after each payment. We pay once a month by PayPal, Interac e-Transfer or Wise. You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
Promotion. Be honest: say VidLyft is a partner or sponsored link where your platform requires it, don't promise results, and don't say VidLyft is made or endorsed by YouTube or Google. No spam, no paid ads bidding on "VidLyft", and no coupon-site listings.
Featured videos. If you send us a video, you let VidLyft reshare it, or clips of it, on VidLyft's own social accounts and website, with credit to your channel. Featuring is our choice and isn't guaranteed. Ask us anytime and we'll take a reshared video down.
Changes and ending. We may change the commission rate for future payments with 30 days' notice, and we may end a partnership that breaks these rules. Commission already earned under the rules is still paid.
